Backpacking
From two days to two weeks, we can guarantee that this will be a trip with memories that last a lifetime! Spend each day on the trail exploring new horizons and each night in a tent with a new view that no hotel room could ever provide. Carrying a backpack with all that you need provides a sense of freedom like no other. Expect to view glaciers and wildlife as you travel through alpine and forested environments. Camps are always situated in close proximity to water, sometimes beside trout filled lakes. We take care of all the planning from route logistics to food so that you can spend your vacation enjoying it.
We tailor each trip to suit your interests and goals. We like to keep daily distance on the trail to no more than 12 km to ensure a more leisurely and enjoyable trip and encourage ‘days off’ when possible. For longer trips we can arrange a food cache along the way by either a porter or by helicopter assistance.
Participants must be willing and able to carry up to 40 lbs in their backpack for up to 2 consecutive hours at a time. We practice ‘no trace camping’ during all trips and utilize campfires in a suitable environment, sparingly. We limit our group sizes to 6 participants for a more personal experience and to ensure that your safety is never compromised. Safety is our top priority at all times.
